WELD Nashville

  • Pets must be approved by WELD for pet “membership.” This is not an open door policy.

  • Only members who have dedicated space may bring their pets (Dedicated Desk, Container, or Premiere).

  • One Strike. If a rule is broken, pet membership expires immediately.

  • Dogs must be properly licensed and vaccinated.

  • All dogs must be supervised and cannot be left alone while the owner is not present. Dogs must stay with their owner or designated watcher at all times and should be kept in an member's office when the member is working there.

  • Dogs are not allowed in the bathrooms, kitchen, meeting room, studio B, or photo studio.

  • Any behavior, which interferes with another member's ability to work, will be cause for a pet to be taken home (interference is in the eye of the beholder). Aggressive behavior, such as growling, barking, chasing, or biting, is unacceptable.

  • Members with allergic reactions to dogs may ask the owner to refrain from bringing the dog to the workplace if the presence of the dogs makes it difficult for the allergic member to work.

  • Owners are responsible for cleaning up after pets at all times. If a pet has more than one indoor "accident" they will be asked to go home. Members are financially responsible for any damage or cleaning to WELD facilities, this includes damage from accidents, excessive pet hair and odor removal.

  • Owners are responsible for fully removing dog feces from outside premises and disposing of in the public outdoor dumpsters (located in the Northwest corner of the lot).

  • Owners must maintain adequate liability insurance against dog mishaps.

  • WELD assumes no responsibility for any pet.

  • WELD reserves the right to revert back to a “No Pets” policy if it sees fit. Ultimately, we believe that having these lovely creatures in the space is a great addition to the psychology of the space, but will remain dedicated to preserving a place conducive to work.
